Job summary

Focus Staff is seeking a travel Respiratory Therapist for a 13-week contract in Clarksville, Tennessee. The role involves joining the Respiratory Team to develop and implement patient care plans in collaboration with physicians and nurses, with a focus on safety and quality.

The position requires a minimum of 2 years of experience, current CPR/BCLS certification, and preference for BCLS/ACLS/PALS/NALS/NRP. Expect a 3x12 night shift and competitive pay with benefits and licensing reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Respiratory Therapist.
• Maintain current CPR or BCLS certification.
• BCLS, ACLS, PALS, NALS, or NRP preferred.
• Excellent communication with staff, physicians, patients and families.
• At least 2 years of work experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating patient and recommends a treatment plan
• Providing respiratory care to patients with critical and complex medical and surgical conditions
• Performing insertion and removal of endotracheal tubes
• Performing timely and accurate documentation
• Promoting continuous quality improvement
• Teaching and counseling patients/families
