Job summary

Focus Staff is seeking a traveling Respiratory Therapist for a Hartsville, Tennessee assignment. The contract position runs for 13 weeks with 36 hours per week on 12-hour night shifts.

You will collaborate with physicians, registered nurses, and other therapists to develop and implement patient care plans, ensure patient safety, and document care accurately. This travel role offers competitive pay, benefits, and licensing reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Respiratory Therapist
• Maintain current CPR or BCLS certification
• BCLS, ACLS, PALS, NALS, or NRP preferred
• Excellent communication skills with the staff, physicians, patients and families

Responsibilities

• Evaluating patient and recommends a treatment plan
• Providing respiratory care to patients with critical and complex medical and surgical conditions
• Performing insertion and removal of endotracheal tubes
• Performing timely and accurate documentation
• Promoting continuous quality improvement
• Teaching and counseling patients/families
