Job summary

American Traveler Staffing Professionals is hiring an experienced RN for a Stepdown/ACU position in Springdale, AR. The role requires 2+ years of stepdown experience and Cerner proficiency, with a day shift and every other weekend schedule.

Active AR or Compact RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications are required, and there must be no gaps in work history over the past year. Valid driver’s license is also required.

Qualifications

• Active RN license (AR or Compact) must be in hand.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Minimum 2 years of recent stepdown nursing experience.
• Cerner EMR experience required.
• Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment.
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months.
• Valid driver’s license required for consideration.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to stepdown/ACU patients with responsibility for floating to MS/Tele units as needed.
• Work in the Transitional Care Unit (ACU/Stepdown) of a hospital setting.
• Day shift schedule from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM; every other weekend.
• Float to Med/Surg or Telemetry units as needed; use Cerner EMR.
