Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is hiring a Stepdown Cardiovascular RN requiring an OK or compact RN license and at least 1 year of stepdown experience. The role is travel-based in Oklahoma, with a 3x12 day shift (6:45 AM to 7:15 PM) and weekend rotations.

Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility; Epic charting experience is preferred, along with BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications. Benefits include housing allowance and travel reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Active OK or Compact RN license required at time of consideration.
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS.
• Minimum 1 year of stepdown nursing experience required.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Cardiovascular Stepdown unit of a hospital setting.
• Day shift schedule, 3x12 hours from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM.
• Weekend shifts required.
• Floating required to like units within scope, as needed based on facility needs, with brief orientation provided.
• Unit responsibilities include medication titration, moderate sedation, arterial sheath removal, and Swan Ganz catheter utilization.
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply.
• Must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be considered for the travel position.
• Former permanent staff must have been separated from employment for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler.
• No more than 3 days of RTO will be auto-approved, and no RTO is permitted during the first week of orientation.

• Active OK or Compact RN license required at time of consideration
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
• Minimum 1 year of stepdown nursing experience required
• Epic charting experience preferred
• Skills required include IV therapy, blood product administration, PICC line management, cardiac monitoring and emergency response, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, 12-lead EKG/ECG acquisition, and procedural sedation administration/monitoring
• Interventional cardiology experience preferred
• Pre/post cardiac catheterization and sheath removal experience preferred
