American Traveler, LLC. is seeking a Travel Registered Nurse for Telemetry/Step-Down in St. Louis, MO. The assignment is 13 weeks with potential extension, offering 36 hours per week on a 12-hour night shift within a Level I Trauma Magnet teaching hospital.

Requirements include MO or compact RN license, BLS/ACLS, and telemetry/EKG expertise. Travel, licensure reimbursements, and comprehensive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Active MO or compact RN license required at time of consideration.
• Minimum of 2 years telemetry or step-down nursing experience required.
• Telemetry, EKG, and cardiac drip experience required.
• EPIC charting experience required for certain units.

Responsibilities

• Work in a telemetry/step-down unit in a short-term acute care hospital.
• Night shift schedule with 12-hour shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM).
• Patient ratios are typically 1:4-5.
• Caring for adult patients requiring cardiac monitoring and management of cardiac drips.
• Use of telemetry equipment and EKG monitoring required.
• EPIC charting system experience required for certain units.
• Must float within scope as needed to meet facility requirements.
• No on-call responsibilities.
