Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is hiring an RN for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) night shift in a Level III Trauma Center with NICU capabilities. The 21-bed unit serves geriatric and adult patients with 4:1 ratios, using MEDITECH EHR.

Requirements include TX or Compact RN license, BLS and ACLS, and a minimum of 2 years of RN experience. Travel rate applies for eligible candidates. Housing and licensure reimbursements are offered, along with a comprehensive benefits package and per diem subsidies.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required

Responsibilities

• Progressive Care/Stepdown unit within a 154-bed hospital
• Level III Trauma Center with Level I NICU
• Geriatric and adult patient population
• 21-bed unit with 4:1 patient ratios
• Uses MEDITECH EHR system
• Night shift schedule, 6:45 PM to 7:00 AM
• Weekend commitment of 48 hours per month
• Every other weekend rotation
• Hospital serves as the most complex facility within a 70-mile radius, covering Northeast TX and Southeast OK
• Joint Commission Accredited Chest Pain Center with Primary PCI
• Advanced Primary Stroke Care Center designation
• Recognized in top 5% nationally for orthopedic outcomes
• Black scrubs required
• Weekly orientation held on Mondays
• Candidates must live 60 miles or greater from the facility to be considered for the travel rate
• Candidates cannot have worked permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
• Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere full-time
