American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Telemetry/Post-Op assignment in Texas. The role requires at least 2 years of telemetry/Med-Surg experience and an active TX or compact RN license. BLS and NIH Stroke Certification are required.

The position is a 13-week assignment with a night shift from 6pm to 6am. Travelers outside a 50-mile radius are eligible; first-time travelers may be considered. Benefits include high pay, bonuses, day-1 medical/dental/vision, 401(k), weekly payroll,

Qualifications

• Active TX or compact RN license required.
• BLS certification required (AHA or ARC, not expiring within 30 days).
• NIH Stroke Certification required for this unit.
• Minimum 2 years of recent Telemetry/Med-Surg experience.
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more in the past 12 months.
• US SSN and date of birth required for consideration.
• One professional reference required.

Responsibilities

• Care for Med-Surg/Telemetry post-operative and cardiac patients.
• 13-week assignment with night shift (6pm-6am).
• Provide telemetry monitoring and post-operative nursing care on a med-surg unit.
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility.
• First-time travelers may be considered.
