Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse license for the state in which the nurse practices.
• One year experience in Telemetry preferred.
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice.
• Participation in Amergis' Competency program when applicable.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care on telemetry unit.
• Performs focused interviews to identify patient needs.
• Monitors EKG output and informs doctors of changes.
• Records vital signs and updates patient medical records.
• Manages and administers medications and documents plan of care.
• Monitors safety and effectiveness of environment and equipment.
