Amergis Healthcare Staffing, Inc. is seeking a travel nurse RN in Telemetry for a 13-week assignment in Baltimore, MD. The role requires a Telemetry specialty, RN discipline, 36 hours per week, and 12-hour shifts as a travel position.

The RN will assess and monitor telemetry patients, perform nursing duties, document care, and ensure HIPAA compliance while providing high-quality patient care on a telemetry unit.

Formación

• Current Registered Nurse license for the state in which the nurse practices
• One year experience in Telemetry preferred
• CPR certification if applicable
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Successful completion of Amergis' Competency program when applicable

Responsabilidades

• Utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care on telemetry unit
• Monitors EKG output and keeps doctors informed of any changes
• Records vital signs, including oxygen levels, blood pressure, breathing patterns, etc.
• Monitors patient progress and updates patient medical records as needed
• Provides a safe, comfortable and therapeutic patient environment
• Documents patient’s plan of care and nursing interventions
