Qualifications

• RN with Med Surg/Telemetry specialization
• Minimum one year telemetry experience preferred
• Current RN license in state of practice (Maryland)
• Good communication and patient care skills

Responsibilities

• Assess and care for telemetry patients using nursing process
• Monitor EKG output and report changes to physicians
• Record vital signs and update medical records
• Administer medications and perform diagnostic tests as ordered
• Educate patients and families about cardiac health and care plans
• Maintain safe, therapeutic environment and document plan of care
