Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Charlotte, North Carolina. The assignment runs for 7 weeks with 36 hours per week, on a 12-hour night shift in the ADTU TELE unit. This travel role includes EOW scheduling expectations and non-call duties.

Technologies used include Epic EMR, Alaris IV pumps, Omnicell, and Phillips monitors. Required certifications are BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS; 1.5 years of RN experience with stroke and rhythm interpretation is preferred.

Qualifications

• 1.5 years of RN experience required.
• Stroke, rhythm interpretation, trach care, PIV starts, chest tube management, NGT placement, drain/tube management.
• BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certs required.

Responsibilities

• Provide telemetry nursing care on the ADTU Tele unit.
• Monitor patient status and respond to changes in condition.
