Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a Travel Nurse RN Telemetry in Charlotte, North Carolina. This assignment runs 7 weeks with 36 hours per week, primarily night shifts. The role requires stroke experience and cardiac rhythm interpretation, with certification in BLS, ACLS, NIHSS.

Unit assignments include ADTU Tele and clinical interviews; travel nurses may float regionally as needed. EMR is Epic; expect a comprehensive traveler benefits package and weekend rotation.

Qualifications

• 1.5+ years experience as a Travel RN preferred.
• Stroke experience and ability to interpret cardiac rhythms.
• Trach care, PIV starts, chest tube management, drain/tube management.
• Cardiac drips, Heparin, IVF administration; PCA pumps.
• Current BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide Telemetry RN care in Charlotte, NC for 7 weeks.
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms; manage STEMI/ischemia risk.
• Support stroke and neuro patients; coordinate with teams.
• Utilize Epic for orders, documentation; maintain patient safety.
