Job summary

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN - Telemetry for a night shift role in Michigan. You will care for adult and geriatric patients in the Telemetry unit of a teaching hospital, working 3x12-hour nights with 36 hours per week.

Required: active MI RN license, BLS; ACLS and CPI preferred. Minimum 2 years MS/Tele or Telemetry experience and Epic charting experience. This role offers competitive pay and on-site parking.

Requirements

• Active MI RN license required
• Current BLS certification required; ACLS and CPI preferred
• Minimum 2 years of MS/Tele or Telemetry experience required
• Epic charting experience required
• Skilled in cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation and management
• Experience with IV therapy, central and peripheral line care preferred
• Experience managing cardiac and vasoactive drips (no titration) preferred
• Experience with respiratory care including BiPAP/CPAP and tracheostomy management preferred
• Wound care/wound vac experience preferred
• Experience with post-MI and pre/post cardiac cath patients preferred
• Renal failure patient care experience preferred

Additional Information

• Teaching hospital with Level II adult trauma designation
• Provide telemetry-based nursing care including on-unit and remote monitoring
• Participate in rapid response and code team activations as needed
• Scrub color requirement: royal blue or white
• Free on-site parking available
