Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is hiring an experienced Telemetry RN for a 12-hour night shift in Kansas City, MO. A MO or Compact RN license plus BLS/ACLS are required; 2+ years of telemetry experience is essential.

New grads are not considered. Occupational Health screening, including drug screen, TB test, and physical, is required upon offer. Responsibilities include providing telemetry care in a hospital setting, night shift scheduling (6:45 PM–7:15 AM), with four weekend shifts every six weeks,

Qualifications

• Active RN license (MO or Compact) required.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required at time of consideration.
• Minimum 2 years of Telemetry experience required.
• New graduates will not be considered for this position.
• Occupational Health appointment required upon offer acceptance, including drug screen, TB test, and physical.

Responsibilities

• Telemetry unit setting in a hospital environment.
• 12-hour night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM on variable days of the week.
• Both 36-hour and 48-hour scheduling options available.
• Required to work four weekend shifts per six-week schedule block.
• No on-call responsibilities.
• Floating required as needed, including to Medical-Surgical units.
• Provide telemetry nursing care within a hospital setting.
• Must attend all scheduled orientation dates.
• Holiday coverage expected on an as-needed basis with willingness to help.
• Willingness to float to other units, including Medical-Surgical, is expected.
