Job summary

Cross Country Nurses seeks a travel nurse RN Stepdown for a travel assignment in Uniontown, PA. The role focuses on step-down care in an acute setting, with 12-hour night shifts and a 36-hour workweek, and requires ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and 2 years of experience.

You will work with Cerner or EPIC, manage cardiac dysrhythmias, titrate drips, and monitor patients, with orientation and potential ICU float as described.

Qualifications

• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a step-down or similar acute care unit.
• Willing to wait for license approval and possess valid RN license.

Responsibilities

• Step Down Unit Nurse in an acute care setting providing high-quality patient care.
• Titrate drips (Cardizem, Nitro, Dopamine, Dobutamine, Heparin) and interpret monitor strips.
• Manage patient stability and respond to cardiac and neurologic emergencies.
