• Active RN license is required.
• Degree from an accredited nursing program.
• BLS certification required.
• Eighteen months of recent Acute Care PCU/Step-down experience.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and signs/symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret health data and nursing diagnoses.
• Document plan of care with nursing diagnoses and outcomes.
• Initiate and evaluate patient and family education.
• Revise and document the plan of care based on evaluation and changes in medical plan.
