Job summary
PEL/VIP seeks a travel nurse RN to serve as a Stepdown specialist in Bloomington, Illinois. The role covers 48 hours per week on a 12-hour night shift in a Cath Lab setting, with floating to ICU/General Medicine as needed. CTL patients, telemetry, and chest tubes are typical duties.
The ideal candidate holds ACLS,BLS,NIHSS and is comfortable reading telemetry; 32-bed facility; travel employment type. Benefits and stipends apply.
Qualifications
- ACLS, BLS, NIHSS certifications required.
- Ability to read telemetries.
- Comfortable with chest tubes.
Responsibilities
- Care for patients with COPD, CHF, diabetes, sepsis, and various other conditions.
- Administer BIPAP, CPAP, manage tracheostomies, and central lines.
- Support ablation and cath lab patients.
