Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN Stepdown for a travel nursing job in Lincoln, Nebraska. The position is a 13-week assignment with 48 hours per week, 12-hour day shifts, and self-scheduling, including every third weekend.

The role requires ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications, a minimum of 2 years of related clinical experience, and the ability to titrate IV drips while caring for stroke patients. A valid license, 50-mile drive, and orientation exam with 90% are required.

Qualifications

• ACLS, BLS, NIHSS certifications required.
• Minimum 2 years of related clinical experience.
• Travel nurse assignment requires driving at least 50 miles from facility.
• Ability to titrate IV drips and manage stroke patient care.
• Must pass a skills exam with 90% during orientation.

Responsibilities

• Participate in unit orientation.
• Respond to call-ins within 1 hour.
• Float as needed within the unit.
• Provide care for trauma, stroke and cardiopulmonary conditions.
• Titrate drips such as Amiodarone, Cardizem, Heparin, Nicardipine, Dobutamine.
