MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Stepdown for a travel nursing job in Saint Joseph, Missouri. This position requires 36 hours per week, night shifts, and a 13-week assignment.

The ideal candidate will hold an active RN license, a nursing degree, and BLS certification with 18+ months in Acute Care PCU/Step-down. MedPro provides travel compensation and benefits for eligible travelers.

Qualifications

• Active RN license
• Degree from accredited nursing program
• BLS certifications
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care PCU/Step-down setting

Responsibilities

• Assesses patient needs, signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes; utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care.
• Collects, analyzes, and interprets data from health care members and documents actual/potential nursing diagnoses.
• Documents the plan of care using identified nursing diagnoses and outcomes.
• Initiates and evaluates patient and/or family education.
• Revises and documents the plan of care according to evaluation and changes in medical plan of care.
