A reputable healthcare staffing firm is seeking a Travel RN Step Down for a new 300-bed acute care hospital in San Francisco. This role involves direct nursing care for patients in a variety of settings and requires proficiency in step-down procedures. Candidates should have an Associate Degree in Nursing and be certified in BLS, ACLS, and hold a CA RN Licensure. Exceptional compensation includes a $10,000 sign-on bonus and world-class benefits.

Qualifications

• Two (2) years ICU RN experience preferred.
• BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider certification required.
• ACLS certification required.
• CA RN Licensure required.
• NIHSS certified required.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct nursing care for patients of all age/developmental stages in assigned areas.
• Uses the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Looking for a Step down ICU RN.

Shift: 3 x 12 Night 19.00 pm - 07.30 am.

Weekend call required.

Position Overview

This Hospital is a BRAND NEW 300 bed acute care, community-based, not-for-profit hospital serving residents of the San Francisco Bay area. This hospital is affiliated with the largest health system in CA and a national leader in non-profit exceptional patient care. Our client has engaged our firm to assist them in filling multiple positions of need for their rapidly expanding surgical unit.

Clinical Responsibilities

Provides direct nursing care for patients of all age/developmental stages in assigned areas using the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Looking for a Step down ICU RN with proficiency in Step down procedures, vascular procedures and Neuro Stroke procedures.

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing.

Certification & Licensure

• BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider
• ACLS
• CA RN Licensure
• NIHSS certified.

Preferred Experience

• Two (2) years ICU RN experience preferred

Skills and Knowledge

• Basic knowledge of surgical procedures, equipment, and supplies.
