Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. seeks an experienced RN for an Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit in a hospital setting. The role requires a med-surg background and rotating shifts, with responsibilities including care for post-acute stroke, cardiac patients, and deconditioning.

The position features a 17-bed unit with a 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratio, rotating 7a-7p shifts, and weekend/holiday coverage as needed. Epic EMR experience is required.

Qualifications

• Active RN license (MD or Compact) currently in hand.
• Current BLS certification.
• Epic EMR experience required.
• Med-surg nursing background required.
• Comparable facility size experience required.

Responsibilities

• Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit setting within a hospital.
• Small 17-bed unit with a 1:5 nurse to patient ratio.
• Patient population includes post-acute stroke, cardiac, weakness/deconditioning, and acute rehab needs.
• Rotating 7a/7p shift schedule.
• Every other weekend required.
• Holiday coverage as needed.
• Floating within skillset required if census is low.
• No on-call responsibilities.
• Uses Epic EMR.
• Provide rehabilitative nursing care to patients recovering from stroke, cardiac events, and deconditioning.

• Provide rehabilitative nursing care to patients recovering from stroke, cardiac events, and deconditioning
• Local candidates accepted at the same rate
• Radius rule may apply depending on specific facility location
