Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN for the Preoperative unit in Canton, GA. The role is travel-based, 13 weeks, 36 hours per week, with 12-hour day shifts (0530 AM–6 PM).

The RN will assess, prepare and support patients pre-surgery, collaborate with the surgical team, and document vitals while following AHA BLS/ACLS/PALS/Nih guidelines. Benefits include health coverage, 401(k) match, housing and travel reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in the Pre-Operative Unit.
• Current AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIH certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate patient conditions before surgical procedures.
• Prepare patients for surgery by providing information and emotional support.
• Administer medications and perform necessary interventions as prescribed.
• Monitor and document patient vital signs and responses to treatment.
• Coordinate with the surgical team to ensure seamless patient care.
