Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN for PreOp/PACU - Post Anesthesia Care in Philadelphia, PA. The 13-week assignment offers 40 hours per week, day shifts, and travel benefits.

The role requires a year of Pre/Post-Op RN experience, an active RN license, and BLS certification, with ACLS and PALS preferred. You will assess and care for patients before and after anesthesia, coordinating with the perioperative team.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Pre/Post-Op RN is required.
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations is required.
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients pre-operatively, reviewing history and physicals.
• Prepare patients for surgery and educate about procedures and post-operative care.
• Monitor post-operative patients for complications and manage pain and recovery.
• Document assessments, interventions, and recovery progress in records.
• Collaborate with surgical team to ensure comprehensive perioperative care.
