Job summary

Sanford Health, a leading rural health system in the United States, seeks a Registered Nurse to provide individualized care to residents and collaborate with families and clinicians. You will coordinate care, educate residents and families, and participate in planning and evaluation using the nursing process.

The role may include charge nurse responsibilities and delegation to licensed/unlicensed staff, with opportunities for premium pay and weekend/evening differentials.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program (CCNE/ACEN/NLN CNEA preferred).
• Bachelor’s Degree in nursing preferred.
• Minimum age 18.
• Current unencumbered RN license in the state or multi-state licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized nursing care to residents using the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Coordinate care with residents, families and inter-disciplinary colleagues to plan and evaluate care.
• May serve as charge nurse and delegate tasks to licensed and unlicensed personnel.
