MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Post Partum for a travel nursing job in Dallas, Texas. The role involves caring for mothers and newborns after delivery, with 12-hour day shifts and a 36-hour workweek, for a 13-week assignment.

The position requires active RN licensure, a nursing degree from an accredited program, and BLS/ACLS/NRP certifications, plus at least 18 months of acute care Mother/Baby experience. Travel benefits are included.

Qualifications

• Active RN license
• Degree from accredited nursing program
• BLS, ACLS & NRP certifications
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Mother/Baby setting
• Other requirements to be determined by our client facility

Responsibilities

• Cares for moms and newborns after delivery.
• RN monitors mothers post-delivery and supports recovery, recognizing postpartum depression.
• Educates new parents on care, breastfeeding, and infant health.
