Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Post Partum for a travel assignment in McKinney, Texas. This position is a 13-week engagement, 36 hours per week, with 12-hour nights.Active RN license and a nursing degree are required, plus BLS, ACLS and NRP. Eighteen months of recent acute care Mother/Baby experience is preferred. Qualifications

• Active RN license.
• Degree from accredited nursing program.
• BLS, ACLS & NRP Certification.
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Mother/Baby setting.
• Client facility requirements may apply.

Responsibilities

• Care for moms and newborns after delivery.
• Monitor mothers postpartum and support recovery.
• Educate parents on care, bathing, feeding and infant health.
