Job summary

Colorado Psychiatric seeks an RN to travel to abortion care centers, assist in procedures, and learn ultrasound dating under QM oversight. You will educate patients on pregnancy options and aftercare, screen histories, obtain informed consent, and document encounters with precision.

Ideal candidates have RN licensure, BLS/ACLS, and experience in IV therapy, sedation, and perioperative care, with flexibility for a varied schedule and travel across multiple states.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in nursing required.
• Licensed as a registered nurse by state boards.
• BLS certification or obtain within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS certification required prior to start date.
• Experience with IV therapy, injections, venipuncture and patient assessment.
• Experience with abortion care, conscious sedation, and perioperative care.

Responsibilities

• Travel to abortion care centers to assist in procedures.
• Learn ultrasound dating technique under QM oversight.
• Educate patients on pregnancy options, procedures and aftercare.
• Screen medical history and identify care impacts.
• Obtain informed consent prior to procedures and document encounters.
• Manage medications, monitor sedation, and assist with procedures.
• Maintain sterile processing and equipment; support case management.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, CLIA, and Board of Pharmacy regulations.
• Provide emergency care as needed and support health center admin duties.
• Demonstrate exemplary customer service and teamwork.
