SDMS is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to support abortion care at multiple health centers, including Denver, CO and surrounding areas. You will travel to sites, assist with procedures, monitor patients, and educate on pregnancy options with a focus on safety and compliance.

The ideal candidate holds an Associate's degree in nursing, active RN license, BLS (ACLS required), and has experience with IV therapy, venipuncture, and emergency management. A generous sign-on bonus is offered.

Qualificações

• Associate's degree in nursing required.
• Licensed as a registered nurse by the state board of nursing in all applicable states.
• BLS certified or must obtain within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS certification required; must submit proof at least 9 calendar days prior to start date.
• Experience with IV therapy, injections, venipuncture, patient assessment, medication administration, emergency management, and collaboration with advanced practice providers.

Responsabilidades

• Travel to abortion-providing health centers to assist in abortion care.
• Learn ultrasound dating technique under QM oversight.
• Educate patients on pregnancy, abortion options, and aftercare.
• Screen medical history and assess information affecting care.
• Provide informed consent sessions prior to procedures.
• Administer medications and manage documentation.
• Assist providers with procedural abortions and sedation.
• Monitor patients during sedation and post-procedure recovery.
• Maintain sterile processing and help with case management and follow-up.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, CLIA, and Board of Pharmacy regulations.
