Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel RN for the Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (PCICU) in Newark, New Jersey. This 13-week travel assignment requires a 36-hour work week with 12-hour night shifts, and immediate placement in a PCICU setting.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of PCICU or critical care experience, plus BLS and PALS certifications. It includes tax-free stipends and a comprehensive benefits package through TotalMed RN.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed RN with ICU/PCICU experience.
• PALS and BLS certifications are required.
• Eligibility for state licensure in the applicable state.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to pediatric patients in PCICU with cardiovascular conditions.
• Monitor vital signs, rhythms, oxygenation, and other critical parameters.
• Administer medications and manage ventilator support as directed.
