Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care for a travel nursing job in Paramus, New Jersey. The assignment runs for 13 weeks with a 36-hour work week and 12-hour night shifts.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of acute care experience and current BLS/PALS certifications. You will monitor patients, support ventilators and lines, and assist physicians and families for optimal pediatric care.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years' recent acute care experience.
• PICU experience preferred but not required.
• BLS and PALS required at minimum.

Responsibilities

• Monitor vital signs and respond to changes as needed.
• Manage equipment such as ventilators and monitoring devices.
• Assist physicians during exams and procedures, including life-saving scenarios.
• Collaborate with the care team and families to coordinate pediatric care.
