Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel RN Telemetry PCU — Progressive Care Unit in Akron, Ohio. This travel assignment runs for 13 weeks with a 36-hour workweek, 12-hour days, starting 10/18/2026.

The RN must hold an active license, graduate from an accredited nursing program, and maintain BLS & ACLS certifications. Eighteen months of recent Acute Care PCU/Step-down experience is preferred, with client-determined requirements on top.

Qualifications

• Active RN license.
• Degree from accredited nursing program.
• BLS & ACLS certifications required.
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care PCU/Step-down setting.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess patients in PCU/Step-down who are not in ICU.
• Use monitoring equipment to track cardiac and vital signs and respond to changes.
