Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Stepdown RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Louisville, KY. You'll work 36 hours per week on 12-hour night shifts, with opportunities for professional growth and travel experiences across facilities in Kentucky.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Stepdown RN.
• Current Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC).
• Current ACLS Certification (AHA/ARC).
• Progressive Care Certified Nurse (PCCN) Certification) is preferred.
• NIHSS Certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitors and interprets cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and telemetry data.
• Administers prescribed medications and treatments with focus on cardiac care.
• Aids physician during cardiac-related procedures and examinations.
• Maintains awareness of patient comfort and safety in telemetry units.
• Documents nursing history and physical assessment for telemetry patients.
• Initiates patient education plans focusing on cardiac health and lifestyle changes.
