Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing seeks a Stepdown RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Bowling Green, KY. You will work nights on a 12-hour shift, providing telemetry-focused care and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Ideal candidates hold an RN license, BLS and ACLS, with at least one year of stepdown experience; PCCN/NIHSS are a plus. Travel benefits and competitive pay apply, with a dedicated clinical crew supporting you.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Stepdown RN.
• Current valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC).
• Current ACLS Certification (AHA/ARC).
• Preferred PCCN Certification, NIHSS Certification and other applicable licenses.

Responsibilities

• Monitors and interprets cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and telemetry data; respond to abnormalities.
• Administers medications and treatments with a focus on cardiac care.
• Assists physician during cardiac-related procedures and examinations.
• Maintains patient safety and comfort for telemetry patients.
• Documents nursing history and physical assessments; communicate changes to the team.
• Initiates patient education on cardiac health, risks, and lifestyle changes.
• Collaborates with multidisciplinary teams for comprehensive telemetry care.
• Adheres to safety, infection control, and regulatory standards.
