Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing in Puyallup, WA is seeking a travel nurse RN for PCU - Progressive Care Unit on a 13-week assignment. This travel position offers 36 hours per week, 12-hour night shifts, and competitive pay with benefits.

The Stepdown RN will monitor telemetry, administer meds, assist with procedures, and collaborate with the care team to ensure safe, patient-centered treatment for patients transitioning from ICU.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Stepdown RN.
• Current Valid RN license in WA.
• BLS and ACLS certifications current.

Responsibilities

• Monitors and interprets telemetry and vital signs.
• Administers medications and treatments per protocol.
• Prepares equipment and assists with cardiac procedures.
• Maintains telemetry patient comfort and safety.
• Documents nursing history and assessment findings.
• Collaborates with the interdisciplinary team for patient care.
