Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing in Mesa, AZ seeks a Stepdown RN for a 13-week travel assignment in the Mesa area. You will provide specialized care to telemetry patients in transition from ICU to medical-surgical units, with responsibilities for monitoring, medications, and client safety.

Starting date is 10/12/2026, 36 hours per week on a 12-hour night shift, and competitive benefits are included as part of a travel package with licensure and CEU reimbursements.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Stepdown RN.
• Current Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC).
• Current ACLS Certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Monitors and interprets cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and other telemetry data.
• Administers prescribed medications and treatments with focus on cardiac care.
• Maintains awareness of comfort and safety needs of telemetry patients.
• Documents nursing history and physical assessment for telemetry patients.
• Initiates patient education plans focusing on cardiac health and lifestyle changes.
