Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Stepdown RN for a 12-week travel assignment in Alexandria, VA. As part of our team, you’ll deliver care to patients transitioning from ICU to stepdown units, with telemetry monitoring and cardiac-focused interventions. Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Stepdown RN
• Current Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC)
• Current ACLS Certification (AHA/ARC)

Responsibilities

• Monitors and interprets cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and telemetry data
• Administers prescribed medications and treatments with a focus on cardiac care
• Prepares equipment and aids physician during cardiac-related procedures
• Maintains awareness of comfort and safety needs of telemetry patients
• Documents nursing history and physical assessment for telemetry patients
• Initiates patient education plans focusing on cardiac health and risk factors
• Collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care
