Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel RN for the PCU - Progressive Care Unit to join our team in Anniston, Alabama. The position is a travel assignment lasting approximately 8 weeks with 12-hour night shifts and a 36-hour work week.

Ideal candidates will have at least 1 year of Stepdown RN experience, an active RN license, and current BLS and ACLS certifications. PCCN and NIHSS are preferred. We offer competitive pay, comprehensive benefits, and strong clinical support.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Stepdown RN.
• Current valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC).
• Current ACLS Certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Monitors and interprets cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and telemetry data and responds to abnormalities.
• Administers medications and treatments with a focus on cardiac care.
• Assists with cardiac-related procedures and exams with physician support.
• Maintains patient safety and comfort for telemetry patients.
• Documents nursing history and physical assessments for telemetry patients.
• Educates patients on cardiac health, risk factors, and lifestyle changes.
• Collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care.
