Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU for a 16-week assignment in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The role offers 36 hours per week, with 12-hour night shifts on a Progressive Care Unit, focusing on telemetry and cardiac patient care.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Stepdown RN.
• Current valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC) and ACLS Certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Monitors and interprets cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and telemetry data.
• Administers prescribed medications and treatments with a focus on cardiac care.
• Prepares equipment and aids physician during cardiac-related procedures.
• Maintains awareness of comfort and safety needs of telemetry patients.
• Documents nursing history and physical assessment for assigned telemetry patients.
• Initiates patient education plans focusing on cardiac health and lifestyle modifications.
