The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of Stepdown RN experience, an active RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications, and may seek PCCN/NIHSS certifications to enhance opportunities.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Stepdown RN.
• Current RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC).
• Current ACLS Certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Monitor cardiac rhythms, vital signs and telemetry data.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments.
• Assist physicians during cardiac-related procedures and examinations.
• Maintain patient comfort and safety.
• Document nursing history and assessments.
• Educate patients on cardiac health and lifestyle.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care.
