Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU for a 13-week assignment in Glendale, AZ. The role offers 36 hours per week, 12-hour day shifts, and the opportunity to provide progressive care to patients transitioning from ICU.

Requirements include 1 year of Stepdown RN experience, AZ RN license, BLS and ACLS; PCCN and NIHSS preferred. Travel benefits include competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• One year of recent Stepdown RN experience.
• Current RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC).
• Current ACLS Certification (AHA/ARC).
• PCCN Certification preferred.
• NIHSS Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor telemetry, cardiac rhythms and vitals, and respond to abnormalities.
• Administer prescribed cardiac medications and treatments.
• Assist with cardiac-related procedures and examinations.
• Maintain patient comfort, safety, and monitoring for telemetry.
• Document nursing assessments and patient status accurately.
• Educate patients on cardiac health, risk factors and lifestyle changes.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team for telemetry care.
• Follow safety, infection control, and regulatory standards.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and professional conduct.
