Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Travel Nurse RN for the PCU - Progressive Care Unit in Beaufort, South Carolina. This 13-week travel assignment features a 36-hour work week, 12-hour nights, and you will join a supportive clinical team focused on high-quality cardiac and telemetry care.

Requirements include: one year of recent Stepdown RN experience, current SC RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications. Preferred PCCN and NIHSS.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Stepdown RN (telemetry, post-ICU care).
• Current valid RN license in SC and compliance with state regulations.
• BLS Certification (AHA/ARC) required.
• ACLS Certification (AHA/ARC) required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor telemetry and cardiac rhythms, interpret data, and respond to abnormalities.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments, with a focus on cardiac care.
• Assist physicians during cardiac-related procedures and examinations.
• Maintain patient safety and comfort; document patient status and interventions.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, patient-centered care.
