Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU for a 13-week assignment in Roanoke, Virginia. The role focuses on progressive care and critical monitoring, with a 36-hour week on 12-hour day shifts.

The RN must have one year of Stepdown experience, current RN license, BLS and ACLS. Preferred PCCN and NIHSS certifications may be required for certain cases. Fusion offers competitive pay and benefits for travel professionals.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Stepdown RN.
• Current Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC).
• Current ACLS Certification (AHA/ARC).
• Progressive Care Certified Nurse (PCCN) Certification (preferred).
• NIHSS Certification (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Monitors and interprets cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and telemetry data.
• Administers medications and treatments with focus on cardiac care.
• Supports cardiac procedures and examinations with the team.
• Manages patient comfort, safety, and documentation.
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive telemetry care.
• Maintains confidentiality and adheres to protocols.
