MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel RN for the PCU/Progressive Care Unit in Shawnee Mission, Kansas. This assignment runs 13 weeks with 36 hours per week on 12-hour evenings shifts.

Active RN license, degree from an accredited program, and BLS/ACLS certifications are required, with at least 18 months of acute care PCU/step-down experience. Travel benefits include housing options, weekly pay, and credentialing fee coverage.

• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care PCU/Step-down setting
• Other requirements to be determined by our client facility

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess patients who aren't unstable enough to need ICU care.
• Utilize computer equipment to monitor cardiac and other vital information and detect any changes, thereby enabling intervention of life-threatening or emergency situations.
