Job summary

Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Kansas City, Kansas. The PCU RN will deliver high-quality care, supervise staff, and coordinate treatment plans within a 13-week assignment on a 36-hour weekly schedule.

Requirements include an active RN license, BLS and ACLS prior to first shift, with at least two years of bedside experience and PCU background. Travel benefits and comprehensive support are provided.

Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• BLS certification required prior to start.
• ACLS certification required prior to first shift (CIRH only).
• Minimum of two years bedside clinical experience.
• Experience in a Progressive Care Unit strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care in the PCU setting.
• Supervise healthcare staff and coordinate patient treatment plans.
• Deliver patient education and ensure safety across shifts.
• Participate in discharge planning and interdisciplinary collaboration.
