Cross Country Nurses is seeking a Travel RN for the PCU – Progressive Care Unit in Marshfield, WI. This assignment covers 13 weeks with 48 hours per week, nights, and 12-hour shifts.

The role focuses on neuro and trauma care in a multi-specialty unit, including telemetry, drip management, and vent/trach support as needed.

Requirements include BLS and NIHSS, 2+ years in medical-surgical/PCU/ICU, and willingness to train on ventilator management; travel experience encouraged.

Qualifications

• BLS and NIHSS certifications required.
• 2+ years in medical-surgical/PCU/ICU.
• Trachs and ventilator experience preferred, plus drips experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in PCU with neuro and trauma focus.
• Monitor telemetry strips and manage drips (Heparin, Nitro, Diltiazem, Amiodarone, Insulin, 3%).
• Read telemetry strips in a multi-specialty unit (cardiac, ortho, hematology/oncology).
• Float rotation may be required and participate in unit orientation.
