Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU – Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Phoenix, Arizona. The position requires nights, 12-hour shifts, and a minimum of 36 hours per week for 13 weeks.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current, valid RN license in the state of practice, or an interim RN license, or compact RN licensure.
• BLS certification is required.
• Experience in an acute care hospital setting within the past 12 months as a Registered Nurse in the specialty area is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, and discharge planning needs.
• Review patient history, diagnostics, and collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and revise patient care plans.
• Provide direct patient care based on physician orders and standards of care.
• Delegate and supervise activities of licensed and non-licensed personnel.
• Document assessments, care plans, interventions, and patient responses accurately and timely.
• Evaluate patient progress and response to care, adjusting plans as necessary.
• Participate in quality improvement activities, education, and role development within the facility.
