Job summary

TotalMed RN invites you to join our team as a travel RN in Pomona, CA, for a 13-week assignment in the Progressive Care Unit. You will work 36 hours per week on 12-hour nights, delivering bedside care to patients needing close monitoring but not ICU-level support.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of acute care experience, ACLS and BLS, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. TotalMed RN offers weekly pay, benefits, and travel coordination support.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of recent acute care experience required.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• Additional certifications may be required before starting.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care; stabilize cardiac patients.
• Change dressings, insert catheters and start IVs.
• Prepare, administer and record prescribed medications and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Monitor equipment and interpret displays for timely interventions.
• Act on monitor data to correct adverse conditions.
