Job summary

Cross Country Nurses is seeking an experienced RN for PCU in a hospital setting on a 13-week travel assignment. The role requires 12-hour night shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week, and acclimation to a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will have a valid Ohio RN license, an accredited nursing degree (Diploma/ADN/BSN), CPR certification, and strong communication and critical thinking skills to coordinate care, educate patients, and document accurately.

Qualifications

• Valid license to practice in the State of Ohio (RN).
• Accredited nursing program completion (Diploma/ADN/BSN).
• CPR certification required; previous RN experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to multitask and make independent decisions; strong critical thinking.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered care and coordinate care plans in a hospital PCU setting.
• Educate patients and families; document accurately and timely.
• Administer medications and monitor patient status per pathways.
• Report observations to physicians and ensure equipment and supplies are available.
