Job summary

Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU (Progressive Care Unit) in Sylvania, Ohio. The assignment runs 13 weeks with 36 hours per week on 12-hour night shifts, starting 10/05/2026. The PCU RN will deliver high-quality care, follow care plans, supervise staff, and ensure patient safety in an outpatient setting.

Requirements include BLS and ACLS before first shift, ICU/CCU experience, and at least 2 years bedside clinical experience. Benefits and travel stipends are offered.

Qualifications

• BLS and ACLS certifications required before first shift.
• ICU/ Critical Care experience required.
• Minimum 2 years bedside clinical experience preferred.
• Night shift with 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing assessments within 8 hours of admission.
• Develop individualized care plans.
• Provide patient and family education.
• Document all assessments and interventions promptly.
• Participate in patient rehabilitation programs.
• Initiate discharge planning from day of admission and communicate status changes.
• Delegate responsibilities appropriately and assume charge after orientation.
• Engage in team-building and maintain open communication with management.
