Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU in Columbus, Ohio for a 13-week assignment. The RN will deliver care in a Progressive Care Unit, building and implementing individualized care plans, performing assessments, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team on patient safety and recovery.

Shifts are days, 12 hours, with a minimum of 36 hours per week. Required: valid BLS and ACLS prior to the first shift (ACLS for CIRH only), Ohio nursing license, and 0 years of experience

Qualifications

• Valid BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required prior to first shift.
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required prior to first shift (CIRH only).
• 0 years of experience required; appropriate nursing degree and licensure in the state where the facility is located.

Responsibilities

• Performs nursing assessments within 8 hours of patient admission; collaborates with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams to develop and adjust care plans; provides patient education and discharge planning; ensures accurate documentation of patient care activities; participates in team building and unit activities; manages supplies and equipment efficiently; assumes charge responsibilities following orientation; pursues ongoing professional development; demonstrates a calm, patient-focused approach to care delivery.
